System Engineer

As a System Engineer, you handle 3rd-line tickets ranging from networking, SAN, and cluster server issues to project-based work such as Exchange migrations. You also serve as a key point of contact for your colleagues. Leveraging your expertise and curiosity, you oversee the implementation and management of complex IT environments. You provide support where needed and act as an independent advisor, helping clients find the right solutions. Most tasks are performed remotely, but you will regularly visit clients on-site to provide hands-on support.

You are a true senior — not only in terms of technical expertise but also in your communication style. You possess a broad understanding of IT infrastructure and enjoy diving deep into technical challenges, solving them either independently or alongside your team.

We believe it’s essential to bridge the gap between business and technology. For this reason, excellent communication skills are a must. You connect with people easily, ask the right questions, and understand exactly what it takes to manage client expectations.

What are we looking for?

• Based in Aruba

• Strong communication skills in English and/or Dutch (speaking Papiamento is a major plus!)

• A completed degree in IT

• In possession of Microsoft certifications

• In-depth knowledge of Windows platforms, virtualization, storage, Office 365, and networking

• Experience with Azure is a distinct advantage

You are hands-on, organized, and energetic. You have a strong sense of responsibility and can work independently to ensure the client feels fully supported and taken care of.
